Bryan and Beth Durant

Fort Benning October 2, 2008

Yesterday at 4:00 pm Bryan got orders sending him to Fort Benning today to begin Airborne school Monday. He left Fort Leonard Wood today at 12:30. I got to spend a little time with him and see him off. He got a promotion for being squad leader through all of AIT. I was in the car and he ran out to me with a paper in his hand showing off his new rank! He was adorable. This week they had been doing graduation rehearsals at night so we hadn’t been ablr to spend much time together. His class graduated tomorrow morning but they all qualified on Monday! They only do airborne ship out on Thursdays of every week. Bryan and 2 others left today everyone else is held over until there are open slots. He will go through proccessing tomorrow and have his physical then have the weekend off i think and start on Monday! He will graduate on Nov 24th!

Oh i almost forgot! He got on the bus and I went to the PX and I got a text message from Bryan saying that they gave him his official orders for Fort Bragg! So he’s on the bus on the way to GA and I’m here. He has the orders and I don’t have a copy so I can’t start all the planning for moving. I like planning and in my perfect world everything would go as planned!

My big brother David is finally getting married I will be heading to his house on Monday and helping him get everything ready. We are all so excited! I am making the wedding cakes!
